Success for Tayburn
Mammoth's mentor agency, Tayburn, recently won Gold and Bronze awards in the poster and print design catagories at this year's Fresh Awards. The Gold award was received for the project pictured above; posters for the Classic Jazz Orchestra at the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival.
"A simple typographic observation means that the poster reads ‘Classic’ and ‘Jazz’ within a single word.
A typeface which Michael O’Shea had developed for a previous job was found to be perfectly suitable, not only because the letterforms complemented the dual messaging, but also because the typeface had been derived from early Blue Note jazz record covers." - Tayburn

Banksy does The Simpsons
Quite a dark Simpsons’ Couch Gag directed by Banksy. Not necessarily one to get hung up on the Banksy band-wagon, but went to his exhibition in Bristol last year where he had some really interesting stuff on show. Plus, who doesn't love a bit of The Simpsons!
